You don’t have to offload critical thought to adopt a coding agent. As AI systems become increasingly capable, there's a temptation to offload complex tasks entirely to these technologies. If we’re to effectively shepherd these assistants, we need to accumulate b broad suite of new skills. We need to get good at snap code reviews, understand how and when to throw away code, and think in a whole new way.
